We will be kicking off the 2019 Summer Camp this year on July 1, 2019 at the Center, which is located at 469 S. Washington St. in Ripley, TN. With a new theme of "STEM Into Literacy", this year's participants will develop literacy skills by writing about daily activities related to the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematical curriculum. As with prior years, we will also provide training in Reading Fluency and Comprehension, which will push students to improve their overall reading ability. Students will participate in daily reading activities and share their experiences with their fellow campers.

There will be weekly field trips including visits to the Alex Haley Museum, the Civil Rights Museum, Pink Palace Museum, Memphis Zoo, local parks for sports and recreation.

Camp lasts for 3 weeks and ends Friday, July 19, 2019.
